Mum & Dad's Graveyard Visits

Thanks to Mum & Dad's recent trip to Melbourne, I have added photos of Faull and Mathie (Goodgame) headstones.
I have also uploaded a photo of Alexander Mathie and Elsa Goodgame which Mum & Dad took of Nana's precious framed photo.

Photos of Alexander & Jane Raeper added

Thanks to an email from Jim Logan, I now have copies of birth and marriage certificates for Mary Duncan Raeper (b1908).
I have added some of this information to the website.
Jim also sent scanned photos of Alexander Raeper and Jane (Stewart). These are great photos and I have added them to the site.
Thanks Jim!

Elsa Ruby Goodgame Added

I have now added some details of my 4th set of Great Grandparents. Elsa Ruby Goodgame has been very tricky to research so far. With many changes of name and conflicting facts on civil registration documents, it has been a bit of a struggle.

Although it requires more work to confirm, I think I have traced Elsa Ruby Goodgame's birth to Mount Gambier in South Australia.

Anyway, have a look and let me know what you think. Maybe you will think of the very clue I need to confirm it once and for all.

Faull family online now!

In between feeding and changing the new baby, and trying to get some sleep, I have managed to type up the webpage for my Faull great grandparents. Please have a look and feedback any comments.
I hope to move on to the Goodgame family soon, but where will I find the time!

The Family of Alexander Raeper added!

I have spent the last few weeks working on my second great grandfather's family and pulling a bit more information together. In particular, I found his son (Alexander) was listed on the Commonwealth War Graves website. Apparently he died ina POW camp and his grave is in Germany. Will have to drive past there on my next German holiday!
A trip to The National Archives in Kew was my birthday present to myself. Here, I tracked down the dates that the Raepers all emmigrated out to Australia.

At last!

Finally I have found the time to produce and publish my Family History website. At the moment there is only one family on there. It is my Great Grandfather Edwin Alfred Gammon and his family. Over time I hope to add more.
The website can be found at http://www.the-gammons.net.

Coming Soon!

Sometime soon, I hope to create my Family History website. This blog will be the way I keep all those interested people informed of the latest findings. The blog will also allow interested people to contribute their findings, stories and suggestions.
